With this remarkable album, the duo pays a heartfelt tribute to Coltrane's vocal legacy by reimagining the iconic 1963 masterpiece, John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman. Joined by Marsalis' acclaimed quartet—featuring pianist Joey Calderazzo, bassist Eric Revis, and drummer Justin Faulkner—they deliver stunning new renditions of the original six standards, alongside instrumental performances of other classic compositions from Coltrane's timeless canon.
